Tomey: The Unyielding Spirit of Tomekichi Homma
The National Coalition of Canadians Against Anti-Asian Racism (NCCAAR) and the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APF Canada) are proud to launch the graphic novel Tomey: The Unyielding Spirit of Tomekichi Homma.

The work tells the story of Tomekichi Homma, a Japanese Canadian who fought to end discrimination and for the right to vote for Japanese Canadians in British Columbia, Canada.
Asian Canadian Curriculum Project
The National Coalition of Canadians Against Anti-Asian Racism (NCCAAR) is proud be providing project funding to the Asian Canadian Educators Network (ACENet), a not-for-profit organization that is focused on advocating for educational issues and concerns related to Asian Canadians, to further their work in developing curriculum material that highlights the invaluable contributions of Asian Canadians to Canadian society and culture.

The National Coalition of Canadians Against Anti-Asian Racism (NCCAAR) and the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APF Canada) celebrated Asian Heritage Month with a reception on May 6, 2022.
Under the banner Inspiring Next GenerAsian Leaders, the event celebrated Asian Canadian excellence and the achievements of Asian leaders in media, the creative arts, government, and business to inspire future generations of Asian leaders to continue building and strengthening our communities.
